Orta - Vacciago - Lortallo - Monte Mesma - Orta
Partendo da Piazza Motta arriviamo sino alla Crociera, la attraversiamo e proseguiamo sulla carrozzabile fino al bivio per Miasino. Dopo circa 300 metri al primo tornante si trova sulla destra una mulattiera che ci porta in località Vacciaghetto.
Proseguendo sulla destra si arriva a Vacciago, all'indicazione svoltiamo a destra e imbocchiamo una stradina che ci porta alla chiesetta di Sant'Antonio. Proseguiamo lungo un sentiero in discesa e poi la carrozzabile per Lortallo - Monte Mesma e all'imbocco per quest'ultimo prendiamo la mulattiera a tornanti seguendo le stazioni della Via Crucis.
Arriviamo così alla piazzetta del Convento Francescano, ove ci aspetta una visione incantevole del lago e del Monte Rosa. E' consigliabile la visita al Convento con il suo caratteristico chiosco e la bella chiesa.

Starting from Piazza Motta we arrive as far as the Crociera crossroads, we cross it and continue along the road until the fork for Miasino.
After about 300 metres at the first bend there is a mule path on the right which leads to Vacciaghetto. Continuing along on the right, we reach Vacciago.
At the signpost we turn right and take a small road which leads to the Church of Sant'Antonio. We continue along a descending path and then along the road to Lortallo - Monte Mesma and at the entrance to this we take the winding mule path to follow the stations of the cross.
We then arrive at the small Franciscan Monastry square, where there is a wonderful view of the lake and Monte Rosa. The monastery is worth a visit with its typical cloister and charming church.
